Update

I have been terrible at posting since Brody arrived. Sorry for those who have been faithfully checking for updates. But....today, I am going to try to catch up.

Brody is still perfect and precious. He is my little Mama's boy....I think that is only because I have the goods. When he figures out Daddy can give him a bottle, he might change his mind. We had our 1 month check up on Tuesday. It is hard to believe that he is already 1 month old! He weighed in at 9 lbs, 7 oz and 21 inches long. He is growing like a weed! The pediatrician said he looked great and we're off the hook until next month. He is in for 4 shots next month.....so we better take some tissues for Mom. My kids always seem to handle it better than I do.

Brayden is as sweet as ever. He ~loves~loves~loves~ his baby brother. He is a super helper. His favorite activity with Brody is kisses. Brayden gives kisses, Brody takes them. We are so fortunate Brayden has been so good with Brody.

We made our first trek to Johnson City last week. Pap drove us up on Monday and Scott came on Friday. We had a nice trip....it was good to get to spend some time with family and friends. Brayden especially enjoyed his campout in Nan's living room with Uncle Keith. They set up Brayden's tent and put their sleeping bags in. I wish I had a digital picture to post of the two of them in the tent...they were too cute.

On Saturday, we went to Bo-Bo and Grandma's house. It started snowing before we left Johnson City and by dinnertime, there was a couple of inches in Gatlinburg. Brayden loves the snow, and lucky for him Bo-Bo was prepared with a sled. The big boys got to play in the snow on Saturday and for a short time on Sunday.

Mom and Dad are good....spending our days and nights wrapped up in the love of our boys....I can't think of any way I would rather be.

Today is Wednesday, and Brayden is off at school, so all you get is a Brody picture....so you can see how much he has grown.
