Hooray!

This is the CT update. Several of you have called or sent e-mails, and we are so appreciative of your thoughts and prayers. Everything went fine yesterday morning. We went in, Brody had some oral sedation, took a little nappy-nappy, and off to the CT room. The scan took all of 3 minutes. Scott and I were with him the entire time. (We were shielded.) It was difficult...disturbing...to see Brody on the CT table, strapped down. An image I will not soon forget. Afterward, we woke him up, he drank some juice, and off we were sent. It was frustrating to be leave without knowing anything.

The last 24 hours has been long....waiting for news from the physician. Finally, at 5:30 pm, we got the report that Brody's CT was normal! What a relief. We are going to continue to monitor Brody's head growth and do a follow up CT when he turns 2.

Other BIG Brody news: He is WALKING! I can hardly believe my 10 month old is walking, but sure enough. I don't know why this surprises me....Brayden walked at 10 months too. Brody started this a couple of weeks ago, taking one or two wobbly steps. Now he takes 4 or 5 pretty steady steps before he squats, sits, or falls over. :-) It is so adorable...and amazing to watch. They learn so much in the first year.

I am still trying to figure out the new fandangled camera. I put the pictures I took on the computer, but now I can't find them. Never fear, I will figure it out and ya'll will wish I hadn't.
:-)
