Change

I want to share with you all today the story of the Smith Family. Todd and Angie Smith learned while pregnant with their daughter, Audrey Caroline, that she would not survive. In fact, they did not expect her to be born alive. On April 7th, she was born alive. She lived for 2 hours before completing her journey home.

Personally, I am so moved by Angie....by her courage and strength...by her faith. I have tried to put myself in her shoes and I simply cannot. I know deep within me that I would not have the strength and grace she carries. I have struggled over the past few years with my faith....which is hard to admit here in a forum that is usually well filtered. Her complete surrender and faith in God is inspiring...She is inspiring.

I ask that you be in prayer for her and her family. Do not visit this blog unless you are prepared to cry....hard tears....sobbing tears. This family and their heart-wrenching journey will change you - you will hug your kids differently....you will breathe in their sweet smell and hold that breath for just a moment longer. You will be changed.
