I am so far behind...

I am. really. far. behind. I got an email from my blogger friend, Natascha, who said she was missing me in blog land. Um, yea, I guess she is, along with lots of other blog friends. It's been 20 days since I posted anything. Uh-oh. So sorry, friends. :-)

Since it will be impossible for me to go back and fully remember everything, I'll try to bullet it out for you.

The month of June for the Orsburns:

  • Scott and I celebrated wedding anniversary #5 on June 5th! All I can say is - I am *so* in love. I am the luckiest.
  • On June 14th, our dear friend (and Pastor) Paul, baptised the boys at Wesley. It was a truly wonderful event. We were joined by our entire immediate family - Nan, Pap, Uncle Keith, Bo-Bo, Grandma, Carrie, Owen, Avery, and Grammy. The Williams family matriarch, Mamaw, joined us. Adam and Lacee also came. And of course, Kathleen was there. Brayden took the entire event very seriously. He adores Paul, so it was easy for him. Brody, on the other hand, well...not so much. We had a little wrestling and crying, but for the most part he did pretty good.
  • The boys and I spent the entire week last week at VBS. Fun, yes. Tiring, yes. Someone at church said they could remember when VBS was 2 weeks long. I said I would probably be dead if it lasted two weeks. But, I think it was a great learning experience for both of the boys.
  • Scott and I just returned from a weekend get-away. I don't even know what to say about this. We realized we hadn't had a weekend away without child(ren) since we found out Brody was on his way. My best calculation - almost 3 years. This trip was way overdue. We had a wonderful time. We slept in, took a late nap (as in 6 - 8 pm), stayed up too late, and slept in again! I think we both decided we must take weekends away more often. :-) A big Thank You goes out to Nan and Pap for making the weekend possible and keeping the B's! Ya'll are the best!
  • And last, but certainly not least, Scott is changing jobs. He has accepted a position with Mountain States Health Alliance as their Senior Project Manager. He is the only Sr. PM for the entire alliance, which I think is *very* cool. I couldn't be more proud of him. This will be a new adventure for him - coming from being a Sr. Estimator for the last 8 years. I think he is excited, and I am so excited for him. He is taking a week off between jobs, so he'll be lazy-ing it up around the house this week while I slave away at the hospital. (Just had to get that little guilt-trip in there for his benefit!) Keep him in your thoughts as he begins this new chapter on July 6th.

I think that wraps up the biggest events of the past few weeks. I wish I had a picture or two to share, but...you guessed it....no pictures. :-) BUT - I'll leave you with this little teaser - the boys got a cool new toy this evening and Scott snapped some pictures of them trying it out. I'll try to get those posted before 20 more days pass! :-)

Thank you, Natascha, for saying what the rest of us wanted to say. :)

Thank you, Carla, for the update. I've missed you too!

Sorry, dear. Didn't mean to pressure you ;). Okay. I lied. Yes, I did. But in the end, whenever we all out here hear from you, it's a good day. So do what you can..live life...and let blogging happen when you truly have a few minutes. We won't be mad. Well, not too mad ;). Unless another 20 minutes goes by and then....well....then we'll have issues again. But until then, things are good again ;).

Wowsers. Days. 20 DAYS. Not 20 minutes. No human being could keep up with blog posts every 20 minutes. Seriously. That's just...sick. My bad. ;).
