Pictures? No.

I know I am starting to sound like a broken record of blogging excuses, but I think this one is pretty good....

Some nit-wit stole my camera. No kidding. We left the doors to the cars unlocked and some little thief stole my camera and Scott's $10 sunglasses while we, apparently, slept. Does this stink? Yes. I'm not so terribly upset about the camera, but my memory card was in it. I mean, where else would it be?

I've considered making a giant sign for the front yard: "To whoever trespassed on my property and stole my camera out of my car - I hope you enjoy the pictures of my kids."

But I'm not bitter.

We live in a good neighborhood. Really we do. I would have never imagined anyone would do such a thing here. Oh well. Lesson learned. Now we keep the cars locked. PLUS, we've had to keep it pretty quiet around Brayden. He can be such a scardy cat. He asks every single night, without fail, "Are the doors locked?" He comes into our room usually once a night to investigate a noise. So handling the situation has required a bit of delicacy.
So, here are a couple of oldies to share (since I've promised pictures with my last two posts.)

I think this picture reflects the gentle soul that lives within my Brayden. (We don't see much of that Brayden! Grinning.)

And my little Brody - the ever smiling child. We see a lot of this Brody, although the two-year-old-tantrum-Brody is showing up more often. :-)

Nothing much else to report. I plan to replace the camera promptly. Anyone with any good recommendations for a replacement?

Well, at least you have something to blog about now. Be careful what you ask for... ;)

I hope someone somewhere is enjoying the pictures of the boys (and the $10 sunglasses?!?) as much as we would have. I just had to replace our camera recently and I got the Canon Powershot A470 and really like it. I got a good deal on eBay. I'm not much of a photographer, so it is just a point and shoot, but it is very user-friendly, has video, etc. The only thing I don't like is that it goes through batteries quickly and the videos take up more memory than they did on my old camera. I'm sure there's a setting to fix that, but I'm totally camera illiterate. :)
