I should explain about these girls. We have experienced every major milestone of our lives together - high school graduation, college graduations, weddings, babies. Julie and I have known each other since kindergarten. I met both Kathleen and Laura my freshman year of high school. We've been friends forever. The best part is - we picked up together as if nothing had changed and we had never spend any time apart.
They are like my sisters.
Kathleen's birthday was Friday, so we celebrated Friday night with some cookie cake.
Those brightly colored objects in the middle are supposed to be butterflies. I'll let ya'll imagine what a group of silly girls thought they were when I first opened the cake.
Kathleen led us in song. It took us a few minutes to figure out we were supposed to sing Happy Birthday to her. (She's the theatrical one, what can I say?)
We went to see the Lees-McRae Summer Theater production of Guys and Dolls. This show is particularly special to us. We performed in it together in high school. It brought back memories! Fun times.
I have lots of other pictures, but right now I'm having a hard time getting along with blogger and posting pictures. Maybe I'll try again later!
