My boys....
Brody: While changing his diaper this evening (per his request), I said, "Brody, do you know what Mommy is going to say?" (We have gotten into the habit of me asking him everytime we have to change his diaper if he thinks next time we could try the potty.) Brody's reply: "I went to the potty last week."
I mean, really Mom....what do you expect from me?
Brayden: He wanted to snuggle this evening when I got home from my JL meeting. I got in bed with him and he said, "I never get to see you, Mom. Only in the morning and at night. My teacher sees more of me than you do."
Ouch. Not good for the Mommy guilt box. I'll probably be thinking about that one for days and days.

Put a lid on the mommy guilt box and throw it away! You are a great mommy. Look at what you wrote...he asked you to snuggle with him and you crawled in bed. I would bet money that you had dishes in the sink and laundry in the hamper, but you chose to climb in bed with your sweet little boy and listen to what was on his mind. That's a great mommy, if you ask me!
