Quick Update

I'm going to bed, but I wanted to update. Brayden's team won their game tonight 6-4. Love. baseball. :) Scott and I ran 10 miles on Sunday. Yes, TEN miles. And when I say ran, I mean we ran it. I had only one mental breakdown while climbing the ump-teenth hill and just couldn't make my legs make the jogging motion. So I walked for 100 yards or so. Here's a bit of my Sunday running crazy: I kept telling myself my body was somehow seperated from my legs and my upper half was simply on a ride that my legs were providing. This worked for most of my run, until my stream of consciousness shifted to my legs and they started asking why my upper body wasn't doing anything to help. I hope you are laughing out loud at me. I am laughing out loud at myself. I'm a goof head. Anyway, only 12 days until the half-marathon. I'm feeling better about it since our big run on Sunday and my new found technique - regardless of how crazy I might seem.

No joke I JUST DID THE SAME THING! I ran a few miles a few weeks ago and did the whole upper body/lower body thing. TOO FUNNY. Miss you. Hugs. Good luck with the rest of training!
