School started silly early this year. August 4. Really. I'm all about education and getting the kids ready for the standardized tests, yada yada yada. I'm not in favor of starting so early though. Sadly enough, no one asked me. Truthfully, it all worked out beautifully for the Orsburn family. A few days at Nan and Pap's bookended a week at the beach, six weeks of summer day camp, and one week of over night camp....then off to 4th grade we went. Simple as that.
This year has started out smashingly well. I hate to jinx anything. I will say this - Brayden seems to have turned over a new leaf. He is currently a straight A student and a bit of an overachiever. After Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades....I'll totally take an overachiever. :) Below is his first project....he had to create a cell - either plant or animal. He chose the plant cell. I think he did an awesome job. His teacher agreed. He brought home an A on this one. Yay for Brayden! :)
