Happy April from the Orsburn house! I felt the need to post something (anything) so I located some of our recent pictures complements of my phone. I have saved you all from having to endure the 17 pictures I found of Brayden making funny faces. Apparently, he really enjoys the reverse camera feature on my phone. :)
Things are good here. Baseball season has started, which results in the Orsburn family spending most evenings at the ball field. Brody is playing t-ball and Brayden is playing on a minor league team. Brody's first game isn't until Friday. Brayden has already played 5 games. He's had a great season so far. Of course, I'm one proud Momma.
Easter weekend, the Orsburns visited Grandma and Bo-Bo in Gatlinburg. We took full advantage of a beautiful Saturday by spending it at Dollywood. Brayden is a roller-coster maniac. I can't even tell you how many/the number of different costers he rode. For our TN folks, he managed to ride the new coster, The Wild Eagle, three times. Considering everyone at Dollywood wanted to ride this, it is pretty amazing he was able to ride it so much. At one point in the day, the line was over an hour long. We were joined in Gatlinburg by the Singleton family and had a great time hanging with cousins. Below: Brody and Avery striking a pose while waiting in line to ride something. :)
Brody has been obsessed with having a pool in our yard. Um...as cool as I think it would be....no. So he spent his very own money buying a pool. This past Sunday was another beautiful day (read: hot) so he bought his pool and Dad helped him assemble it. The water was ice-cold but the kids and the neighbors had a great time. They didn't seem to mind the frigid water temps.
Finally, we have a picture of Brayden and Brody sporting their new shirts from Nan and Pap. I love this picture. It really seems to catch the essence of utter silliness that resides in this house most of the time. :)
