Baseball is back
Baseball season has returned. Since Brayden played fall baseball in 2012, it doesn't feel like baseball season has been gone that long. :) Brayden was drafted "up" to a major league team this year - which for Brayden (and admittedly for his parents) is a BIG deal. He plays for the Cardinals. So far, they haven't won a game, but it doesn't seem to matter to them. This is the team we've been waiting for Brayden to be a part of - his coach is amazing, he has some great kids on his team, and they play to have fun. I have yet to see a kid come out of the dugout after the game with his head hung from a loss. It is the best experience we've had so far with Brayden.
Brody is playing t-ball again. He is on the River Dogs. He is one of the oldest kids on the team, so by virtue of experience, he's one of the best. (No Mommy bias here, I'm sure.) They've only played one game - and they didn't win either. I wasn't there, but I talked to Brody after the game and he was all excited about getting 3 kids out and hitting an almost-homerun, so I think it is safe to say he's having fun and that's most important at his age.
More baseball to come, I'm sure. :)
