became this high school student on August 2, 2016...
What an emotional day yesterday was! Brayden was a nervous wreck going to school. The traffic was horrendous, which only added to his stress. Turns out, he found his way to his homeroom just fine. I believe had a good day. I am praying for day 2 (and all the days after today) to be as successful as day 1.
I may have cried a little bit when I dropped him off and watched him walk into Science Hill. I may have also cried a little after I dropped Brody off (more on him later) and found myself alone with my thoughts.
It is such an awesome thing to watch your children grow up. This boy...14 years old...he has broken us in as parents in every way. On days like today, I realize all the hard work, fun times, heartache, and joys are worth it. <3 p="">It is such an honor to be Brayden's mom.<3 br="">
