He had a wonderful birthday filled with family and friends. He woke up to the traditional birthday signs hung around the house and balloons filling his bedroom floor. I picked him up from school at lunch and we went to Amigos for mexican food (his choice). He didn't play soccer on his day, but he got to watch Brayden play. Brody played over the next two days. We had dinner at Olive Garden - Brody's favorite place to eat - with Nan, Pap, and the Taylor family. Bro got to open presents - new soccer cleats, a carry case for his hoverboard, and his favorite thing - a Go Pro.
The weekend brought the slumber party with two of his favorite friends - Fisher and Ian. We had pizza and then went to the trampoline park. The visit to the trampoline park was from 9-11pm and the kids jumped under blacklights and flashing colored lights to loud music. I think they had a good time.
It is hard to believe my baby is already 10. At age 10, Brody is finishing his final year of elementary school (4th grade). He loves soccer and all things soccer related. He likes playing Xbox live with his friends. His favorite food is salad. He loves fruit. He recently ordered steamed broccoli. He is the healthy eater in the family. Brody is a happy kid with lots of friends. He plays passionately and hates to lose. He loves his family with everything in him.
