Brody is 11!

I started this silly post a long time ago, but never finished it.  My Brody turned 11 in January, so it's kinda old news around here now.  I wanted to go ahead and get his picture up, just because I love the tradition of these pictures of the boys on their birthday.  It won't be long and we will be taking Brayden's picture in this spot.  Goodness, time does fly!

At age 11, Brody is all about sports and his video games.  He currently loves Fortnite, which is often a point of contention around here.  He is still playing soccer for JCFC.  In the picture above, he was wearing his indoor uniform (because it was January and indoor soccer season).  He also played basketball this past winter, which he really enjoyed.  He is participating in First Tee this spring and I think he is really loving golf.  He has nearly outgrown his clubs though!  Some of his favorite things include beef stroganoff, cherry limeade sparkling ice water, Sunny D, and cookie cakes.  He loves his family and would rather be home than most anywhere else.  He is working his way through 5th grade and playing trombone in the band.  I doubt he will keep it up - he doesn't love that.  :)  He is usually up for adventures, but sometimes has to be talked into it. 

Here are a few more shots from his birthday.  He opted to have his friends over for a sleep over - because as mentioned earlier - he'd rather be home than anywhere else.  :)
