I would say 2020 was the most boring year ever, but that would not be true for the Orsburn Family. It was quite a year for us. The highlights:
1. Brody turned 13. See previous post.
2. I started a new job at The University of Tennessee Knoxville College of Nursing.
3. Two weeks after starting my new job, the pandemic shut down everything.
4. Our spring vacation was canceled - it was actually a construction issue at our condo, but the pandemic beginning also played a part in our cancellation.
4. Scott started a new job with The Christman Company.
5. Brayden turned 18.
6. Brayden graduated from high school.
7. We sold our house in JC and bought a house in Knoxville.
8. We moved to Knoxville.
9. Brayden started college at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
10. We went to the beach in a pandemic and a hurricane.
11. I got a new car!
12. Brody started at a new middle school as a virtual learner.
13. We went back to the beach in October because our first (March) and second (August) tries didn't work out.
14. Brayden voted in his first ever presidential election.
15. My beloved Mamaw passed away on December 8, 2020.
We were quite blessed in 2020. I fully recognize that others had a more challenging year. I am incredibly thankful for the awesome year we had.
Instead of going into a long narrative about each of our events from 2020, I'm just going to pick some of my favorite pictures and post them here. As I get caught back up on the blog, I will try to go back to longer narratives.
Unfortunately, blogger loaded them all out of order and I'm not trying to put 75 pictures in order for 2020. It will just have to be a mystery. :)
