An evening at the spa

Ever wonder what a day at the spa for a 4 year old would be like? Here, I think we have an excellent example.
Brayden was well deserving of an evening in the bubble bath tub with the jets blasting away at him. He had his 4 year check up today at the pediatrician. He did a great job. The doctor said that developmentally Brayden has the skills of a 5 year old. Anyone who knows me, knows that the way to my heart is to tell me how very smart my child is. He was 40 inches tall and weighed 36 lbs. The bad news: He had 4 shots today. The good news: He has all the shots he needs for kindergarten. (I am still trying to decide if I am totally depressed about that.) Bless his heart...bless Mommy's heart. We both cried, as usual. We left the doctor's office, and we had to call Daddy so we could whine to him about it! I think Brayden's legs are a little sore, but that is not slowing him down much. We spent the afternoon at the pool!
