This week has been a busy one at the Orsburn house. It seems like it has been the weekend for about 5 days now. I guess tomorrow (Wednesday), the boys will have to return to the ways of the working world. I was lucky enough to rejoin the ranks today!
On Monday night, we went to the Nashville Sounds Baseball game. Brayden had a ton of fun. He loves baseball. I'm not sure his dad is too keen on this, but Brayden will do what Brayden wants. It appears that baseball is going to be it. So he announced in the car after the game, that when you go to bat, and you hit the ball, you have to throw your bat out of the way so you can run the bases. I did not see evidence of this, but I have reports that he was trying to break his aluminum bat today...much like the baseball player that broke a wooden one last night. After the game, there were fireworks. I wish I had taken the camera because Brayden's face was just perfect.
So, today is Tuesday, and the boys were unsupervised today. They managed to find the local fireworks stand, so we had to shoot off fireworks tonight. This was by far one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. I'm going to have to keep an eye on these two, or they're likely to blow up my house. I think the item that won the most squeals and giggles - putting bottle rockets into the dog water bucket and making water spew everywhere when the rocket exploded. They did this over and over until they finally blew a hole in the metal bucket. Anyway, enough stories....here's a few not so good pictures.
