(This was written today with good old fashioned pen and paper....)
We are at the middle school baseball field. How I wish I had my camera.
The big boys are playing baseball. Brayden is batting .500 at this point - 2 for 4. Not bad considering the pitcher....where did we put that tee? He's wearing his helmet and it is so adorable. Don't tell him I called him adorable - I'm sure it wouldn't be cool. Come to think of it, don't tell his Dad either.
Uh-oh. We are doing the potty dance now. I don't blame him. It's freezing and windy. I'd probably have to pee too. OK - problem solved. Being a boy has definate advantages.
So we're back to the baseball. Dad with the wind up - Orsburn tips it foul. (He must now run around the fence to pick to up said foul ball.) Here's pitch #2...Orsburn with a hit down the first base line....Orsburn not familar with location of first base...running small circle around the pitcher who is trying to tag him out...
Orsburn to report to Mother now, "Baseball game is over. We scored 155 points. We're going to play baseball for 100 weeks." (Because all numbers with Brayden are BIG numbers.)
Baseball season for the Orsburn house starts April 14th. I can't wait.
