#300

Today is post number 300 for the Orsburn Family Blog! It is unbelievable to me I have chronicled our lives here for the past 2 and a half years.

Today, I am doing a different kind of post. I use this blog to communicate, occasionally vent, and often to brag on my (adorable) children. There is one fundamentally underlying theme: These Things I Love. So today, I want to take a glimpse of my life, as it is right this minute and tell you the things I loved today.

Things I Loved Today:
  • Waking up next to my husband
  • Morning snuggles with my little B's - Brayden and Brody
  • The fact that everytime I walked out of Brody's line of sight he immediately started calling out "Mommy!"
  • The feeling of the sun warming my face
  • Two words: Pre-season Football. (Maybe that is three words.)
  • Sloppy Brody kisses and chokingly tight Brayden hugs
  • Dad and Brayden Day (They went fishing and were gone ALL day.)
  • Mom and Brody Day (We did as little as possible, but were sure to include a NAP!)
  • Talking to Brayden on the phone
  • Listening to Scott tell me about a prospective job and knowing that behind every little detail he was thinking, "Is this best for our family?" and "I couldn't make this decision without you."
  • Going to see my Mom and it DIDN'T require a five-hour drive

I shouldn't have started making a list because I know there is something I am forgetting. There are probably lots of things I am forgetting. But in making this list, I have realized the many, many blessings I have every single day.

Now, the fun part - I am tagging the following people to complete their own list of things you loved today: Kathryn (since she apparently needs something to blog about), Natascha, Keith and Becca, Stella, and Lacee. I can't wait to read your lists, but my real hope is you will find the little blessings in the way I did.
