One last update for today, then I have to quit blogging and try to move on to the other things I am procrastinating. :-)
I started reading Queen of the Big Time by Adriana Trigiani. I was only a few pages into it when I went to Barnes and Noble. The newest Nicholas Sparks novel has hit the bookshelves, so I had to get it. :-) I am going to read Queen of the Big Time, but for now I have switched over to The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks.
I have to say a big Thank You to my mother-in-law, Karen. She gave me some wonderful birthday presents, which included a gift card for Barnes and Noble with a little note that said "Keep the book club going!" Without her generosity, I would not be the proud owner of the new Nicholas Sparks book. (My husband is not near as supportive of my love affair with books.) Thanks, Grammy! With the gift card, I bought 5 books....two of which were for Brayden, because I can't resist his new love of reading. :-)
Now, I've got to get started on my new book! Happy reading!

Wooo Hoooo!!!! I'm so glad you guys are gonna do the 5K. I think it's $25 to register. If you guys want to stay with me the night before, you are more than welcome since the race is so early. Can't wait!! You can email at shamilton@foothillscare.com.
