Disclaimer: If you are easily offended by talk about toddler potty habits, you should skip this post.
Today, I laid Brody down for his nap. He was not asleep (and is still not asleep much to my dismay). About 10 minutes after I laid him down, he came out and said to me, "I poo-poo." He then turned around and walked back into his room and laid on the floor next to his box of wipes.
He has been showing some interest in the potty. Usually immediately after having a stinky diaper, he wants to sit on the potty and tell me "poo, poo." I have not forced the issue with him at all, since I thought it was really early for him to be thinking seriously about the potty. I usually just follow him, let him sit, and let him flush the empty potty afterward.
But today....ok...I am thinking if he can tell me he's gone and knows the drill well enough to go and practically do the job himself, it's time to start being more serious about the whole thing. I know I speak for more than one person when I say leaving diapers behind will be a blessing in our house. :-)

I took this little gem back in September when Brody first started to be interested in the potty. I didn't want to jinx anything potentially good, so I chose not to post it at the time. Since we are clearly on the road to the all-potty-zone, I think it is safe.
