I will spare you the picture (I did take one), but the story is too funny not to tell.
This evening while Scott and I were fixing dinner, Brayden and Brody were playing upstairs together. There was no fighting, yelling, crying, or slamming doors involved which should have clued us in that something was up.
Yep.
Brody came down to the kitchen and asked if I could help him take his shirt off so they could play dress up. (Spiderman, Power Rangers, Cat in the Hat Costumes all reside somewhere in the mess of Brayden's room.)
Mom: "Yes, I will, but you need to put your underwear back on."
Brody: "I don't need it."
Mom: (to Brody as he is speeding off) "Yes, you do."
Did I mention we're potty trained? Well, mostly potty trained.
Brayden came bouncing down the stairs in the Spiderman costume, complete with mask. We cannot see a single square inch of his skin.
Brody, on the other hand, comes down the stairs in nothing but the Cat in the Hat hat. Oh, and his socks. There isn't a square inch of his skin we can't see.
Scott and I enjoyed dinner with one naked cat and Spiderman this evening. We like to keep things interesting. Added bonus: Brody was ready for his bath immediately following dinner.
