Skiing
Yesterday I took the day off work. I needed a day off work...or the people I work with need some serotonin exposure...or I need some serotonin. Either way, I was so thankful to have a day off. I spent a quiet morning doing laundry and cleaning the house. I talked Scott into taking part of the day off with me. (He needed a lot of prodding and pressure, ha. ha.) We headed over to Sugar Mountain to do a little skiing. I took my camera and managed to get it out for this single shot...
Yep, this was on our way out...as in standing at the back of the car. We had a great time, but wow, was it cold! At the bottom lift, the LCD said it was 21 degrees at the bottom of the mountain and a frost bite warning was in effect. Hats and gloves required. Holy cow...it should have said "No skin exposure allowed." Not only was it 21 degrees at the bottom, it was a whopping 16 degrees at the top AND...you guessed it....high wind warning. Unbelievably cold. Freeze your face cold. But super fun....and great to have a Mom and Dad day.
