March

It's March and I haven't blogged since January. Oh. my. Let's see what I can come up with to report:

Yesterday we celebrated Nan's birthday! We had a little get together at the Orsburn House. The birthday dinner was hamburgers, at the request of the birthday girl. Sarah and I did a little shopping together and outfitted her room with new bedding, sheets, and throw pillows. :)

I haven't uploaded the pictures from last night, but my little nephew Logan is the funniest! He's 10 months old (almost) and whenever a camera is pointed toward him, he gets his little face all scrunched up in an almost smile. It is the cutest! I don't remember either of my kids trying to smile like that until they were old enough to know what they were doing.

Our summer vacation reservations have been made. This year, it is going to be Ocean Isle. Our condo has a pool, which I am most excited about. :) The ocean makes this Momma a nervous wreck.

Scott and I ran our first 10K this past weekend. Scott finished in 55:10. I finished in 1h 16 min and change. My goal was 1 hr 15 minutes, so I thought I ended up ok. I have to confess, the entire race, there was a bicycle dude riding around where I was....at some point I became convinced I was dead last in the race and he was the guy riding at the end to signal there were no more runners when we got to the finish line. I'm not sure why I thought this, because I could clearly see there were people behind me. Anyway, I did not finish last. I didn't even finish last in my age group. The next race we are scheduled for is our half marathon in Nashville at the end of April. Start praying now. :)

Brayden is headed straight toward spring break. I. want. spring. break. I'm serious. Brayden is going to get to spend some time with Nan. He and Brody are also going to spend a few days with Grandma and Bo-Bo. Summer must be just around the corner!

I think that is the report for now. Nothing too exciting, but at least you know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth!
