Here it is...the birthday picture! This was taken on Wednesday morning, AKA: birthday morning.OK. I'll admit it. I cried the entire way to work. Yes, it was, in fact, my third day of work. (Ok...this is going well.) I managed to pull it together before walking into the building. I had already decided I was blaming my red face and puffy eyes on allergies...not that I have allergies.
Brody's birthday always gets to me. I guess because he is my baby. I can feel the days of snuggling slipping away. I know the days of absolute euphoria at the sight of "Mommy!" are numbered. It makes me sad, but so proud at the same time.
He is already talking about his next birthday, when he will be 5. He is going to go to Brayden's school. Sigh. I should put in for the day off work for the first day of kindergarten. I was a wreck over turning 4. Kindergarten will probably be enough to send me over the edge.
