Look out Kindergarten!

It is hard to believe the littlest Orsburn is gearing up to start kindergarten.  On May 3rd, I picked him up from preschool and off we went, papers in hand, to register him for kindergarten.  My mother-in-law asked how I was doing with it....well, to be honest, I am excited and proud.  There is not a lot of sadness about my baby growing up (well, maybe just a little).  Instead, I know he is ready to move on from preschool and learn bigger and better things.  Brody is such an inquisitive child.  I am excited about the new opportunities "big school" will give him.  He is a very independent thinker and I am confident he will shine even brighter in kindergarten.

Just a few days after the kindergarten registration, we had preschool graduation.  It was the most adorable thing.  The kids sang three short songs about going to kindergarten, received the preschool graduation certificates, and we all had an outdoor lunch.  It was definitely an emotional morning.  It just so happened that Brayden was out of school so he got to go with us.  He snapped the picture you see below.
This should prove to be quite an emotional summer for this Momma.  Preschool graduation, fourth grade promotion, starting kindergarten, and starting middle school.  But I am so proud of both of my boys and excited to see these new chapters open for them.
