Brody's 7th Birthday!

On January 19, we celebrated Brody's 7th birthday!  He decided on a sleep over party with friends for his birthday.  He had Kevin, Gaven, and Cole over to spend the night.  Scott and I decided dinner would be held at Chuck E Cheese.  We have to use that one as along as we can.  I have a feeling we may be nearing the end of our CEC days.  Below are the boys proudly displaying the trinkets their many tickets got them...

And, of course, here is the 7 picture.  He is such a big guy.  :)

I asked Scott to describe Brody.  Here are the words he came up with:  Happy, fun, giggly, active, mouthy, outgoing....

Here are my thoughts about Brody at age 7:  Brody loves his family fiercely.  He continues to adore his big brother and tries to do almost anything Brayden does.  He has lots of friends and loves to play outside with the neighborhood kids.  He just got a new bike and is very excited to hit the bike trails with his Dad when the weather warms up.  He is an active child - he loves playing football, baseball, riding his longboard, and riding his bike.  He likes to get to school early (He must get that from his Dad.)  He still loves to snuggle with his Mommy.  His favorite food is ranch dressing, hands down.  He puts it on every.thing....pizza, spaghetti, buffalo wings, and probably a bunch of other things I do not want to know about.  He also loves fruit, ice cream, and Sunny D juice.  He is a big fan of head injuries - he is currently missing his two front teeth as a result of two separate accidents.  He has a scar on his forehead from a fall on the playground at school (that required a trip to the urgent care to glue him back together).  Even though it is one of the coldest winters I can remember, Brody wears shorts and a t-shirt everyday.  When I drop him off at school in the morning, he is wearing pants, long sleeves, and usually a sweatshirt.  When I pick him up, he is in shorts and a tee.  He wears his shorts under his pants for an easy change when he gets hot.  :)

He is growing up...bittersweet for this momma.
