Brayden

I took Brayden to school this morning and picked up the pile of papers from his cubby. In the mess of papers, there was a pink bag tied with a green ribbon. I opened it up...inside I found all the little Mother's Day things Brayden made at school. I found this one to be funny, and incredibly sweet. I thought I would share. Brayden's answers are in blue. My added comments are in green.

Mothers Day Questionnaire

1. What is your mom's name? Carla

2. What does she do? Works around the house (I guess....doesn't say much for my "work")

3. How old is she? 30 (How did he get this one right? He could have said 29.)

4. How does daddy call mom? Carla

5. What is her favorite color? blue

6. What is her favorite food? Bologna, chicken, pizza, milk (Milk? Is he kidding?)

7. What is her favorite movie? The one that has the twins on it (I am amazed he said this...he must be talking about 'The Parent Trap', which is one of my all time favorite movies. We've only watched it once. He doesn't forget anything!)

8. How an brothers and sisters does she have? 1

9. Where does she like to take you for fun? Red Caboose Park

10. What message do you want to send her for mother's day? Happy Mother's Day, I love you.
(I love you too buddy.)

The picture included is of Brayden leaving for school. I snapped this picture to show off Brayden's new lunch box. After we ate breakfast, he announced that I could pack him a "mustard sandlich" while he got dressed. I packed his lunch (which is totally unnecessary because they give the kids lunch at school), and he came back downstairs fully dressed. Yes....he picked out his own clothes. He got his lunch box and stood by the door. I don't know if he was waiting for the school bus to come or what. Since I am the driver of the Mommy Bus that takes Brayden to school, and at this point I am still in my jammies, I directed Brayden away from the door. I quickly got dressed and loaded up Brody, in case Brayden decided to start walking to school! :-) He is so independent....what am I going to do when the day comes that I have to march him into kindergarten?
Totally unrelated side note: This post marks the 100th post on the Orsburn Family Blog! I thought that was a little tiny bit exciting. :-) Humor me, OK?
