I realize it has been an entire week since I posted anything. I am terribly sorry. (Yes, I have received complaints.) When I clicked 'new post' today, the computer nearly locked up on me! :-) I am going to try to go in order....get cozy....
Last Friday was Brayden's first ever field trip! He went to Honeysuckle Hill Farms. As has become the standard, I was a chaperone. Correction: Brody and I were chaperones. :-) It was a lot of fun, mass chaos, and hotter than....well, hot. The kids got to see the animals, go on a hayride (there was no actual hay), wind through the corn maze, play on the playground, eat apples, and watch a pig race. The absolute cutest part of the entire thing: the pig pen. Yep. The pig pen contained three little houses: one made of straw, one made of sticks, and one made of bricks. It was adorable. ANYway, I think Brayden had fun.
Other field trip notes: Brayden had his first ever ride on a school bus to and from the field trip. Brody and I followed in the car. However, I was not deterred from sneaking on the bus to get a picture of the little rider. :-) Which brings me to the last news of the field trip - I had a terrible time with cameras on the field trip. I took one camera with a dead battery...the other camera is the Handycam camcorder, which is apparently smarter than I. It took me half of the field trip to figure out how to work it. As soon as I figure out how to get the pictures from the camera to the computer, I'll post them.
