Of course, all the male species of Orsburn's had to try it on...(Scott, you can thank me for not sharing the picture of you modeling the leaf blower.)

Brody thought it was ultra cool, since big brother also thought it was ultra cool. The cool-factor quickly disappeared when it was turned on....then Brody decided it was ultra scary. :-) I did not try it on, nor did I use it. Scott, after giving the little men their moment with the new power tool, blew more leaves to the already big pile at the road. Boys and their toys.
You can tell from the attire of the boys in the above pictures, we've had some beautiful spring weather. Nothing consistent, but some warm, beautiful days slipped into the middle of gray rainy ones. Lucky for us, the warmer days have been falling on the weekend and we've been taking full advantage of it. The boys washed cars one weekend. Last weekend (although not as warm) was spent working in the yard. Scott and Brayden dug up an old stump and planted us an apple tree. After purchasing and planting the apple tree, we discovered you can't have just one, you need two. Something about cross-pollination and whatever. So now we have two apple trees. I'm pretty excited, but doubt we'll have any apples for a couple of years. We've also decided to put in a little vegetable garden, so I started some indoor seedlings. We'll see how that goes.
I'll get on with it and share some of the other little gems from my camera. :-) Enjoy.
Below: I think I agree with Brody....sometimes life is just better if you take off your shoes and run barefoot!

Below: From the car washing weekend. Brody got himself a bucket and put water in it. He then proceeded to add mulch to the bucket. When I asked Brody what he was making, he replied, "I make it chicken!" He's so silly! By the time the boys were finished making 'chicken', they were both a total mess, but happy as larks.
