Third Grade!

Here is the first-day-of-third-grade picture! It is almost incomprehensible I have a third grader! Where is the time going? Brayden started school super early this year - August 4th! Third grade is apparently a huge transitional year, and Momma is a little worried. OK, I'm really a lot worried. The baby-ing days of second grade are over. These kids are expected to be responsible for themselves. (We've learned that one the hard way via missed homework.) This is also the first year they will get "real" grades - you know, the ABCDF kind. Until now, he has been progressing toward, meeting, or exceeding grade level. All of that and he will be introduced to the world of standardized tests. It should be interesting, to say the least. I'm excited to see all of the great things in store for Brayden this year!
