You've already heard about my honor roll student....so here is a post about the rest of the happenings at the Orsburn house.
I've joined the choir at church. I used to sing all the time with my girls (Kathleen, Julie, and Laura). I didn't realize how much I missed it until my friend Joy talked me into joining the choir at church. This is my second week and I will be honest, I've been looking forward to it since Sunday.
A few weeks ago, we went to the Knoxville Zoo. It was a terribly disappointing experience. We have a few pictures (I think) from Scott's camera. Sadly, they are not on my Mac to share with you. You'll just have to imagine it. Somehow, I got voted the winner to ride the camel with the boys. I know what you're thinking - yes, I was on the hump. :) I think the boys had fun. Our trip was short. Scott and I got kinda confused on the times for the zoo and when we arrived we only had an hour and a half to play. Only the Orsburn's would pile in the car - drive for three hours (total) - and only spend 1.5 hours at the zoo. :)
Brayden is wrapping up his football season this coming weekend. I'm not sure what their standings are or how many games they've won or lost. I believe Brayden is enjoying it. I'm counting my blessings that I only have one in football this year. I'm afraid next year I might have two. Brody is quite interested in contact sports! :)
Scott and I are traveling to Savannah in about a week to run the Savannah Rock and Roll Marathon. I wish I could say I was going to do 26.2, but it is simply not going to happen this time. Between a stress fracture in my right leg and belly surgery this summer, I haven't trained like I should have. I'm aiming for another 13.1. :) This will be half marathon number three for yours truly. It's time to step up my game for the next one!
