October

The update for October:
I'm off work today, which allows me a few extra minutes to blog.  :)  I took today and tomorrow off to be home with Brayden for fall break.  He is off all week, but will be with my parents for the end of the week.  We are so blessed to have them close by.  The boys simply adore Nan and Pap, which is also a huge blessing.

I'm blogging from my new MacBook!  My sweet husband spoiled me on my birthday.  I'm certain I do not deserve such a great gift.

The Orsburn family is staying busy.  Brayden continues to play football, which occupies 3 days a week.  I really love watching him play.  At first, I was nervous he was going to get hurt, but he is just a little bit contact shy, so I'm pretty satisfied.  His brother is not contact shy.  He is going to be the one I have to worry about.  :)  Scott has been taking pictures with his fancy-shmancy camera at each game.  He set up a zenfolio website to post his pictures.  He does an amazing job.  Some of his shots are almost unbelievable.  You can visit his site by clicking on the newly added link on the side bar.

Brayden is doing really well in 4th grade.  I am so proud of him.  He just ended the first 9 weeks for the school year.  There have been a couple of big projects - he got an "A" on both of them.  We had our first ever "Your child is doing so good" teacher conference.  He's growing up on me.  (Sniff, sniff)

Brody is counting the days until he turns five.  Actually, he's counting the family birthdays left until he turns 5.  Pap, then Uncle Keith, then Brody.  He is so excited about going to kindergarten next year, he can hardly stand it.  The good news is he will go to school with at least one of his friends from his preschool.  He's a pretty confident little fella, but I think it will help he already knows a ton of kids at Towne Acres and he will have friends that start with him.  He's smart smart smart.  I have no doubt he is going to do well in school.

Scott and I are living day to day trying to keep up with the house and kiddos.  Scott recently put a new back porch on the house.  He also ripped out some ugly bushes and put a new fence around the HVAC unit in the back.  There is always a project going on around here.

I'm just working...and doing boy laundry.  Holy. moly.  I don't know how it is possible these children go through the amount of clothing they seem to every week.

I would love to post some pictures, but I don't have any loaded on my new computer.  Must fix that before I go back to work on Wednesday.  :)
