Today, Brody participated in a play at school called, "The Mitten". He was the hedgehog. He had a speaking part: "I've been looking all day for things to eat. A mitten! I will go inside to get warm." Sadly, I was traveling today and so was Scott. Brody practiced his line for me this morning, so I did get to hear him say it. Nan had to fill in and attend the play for us. She took some pictures - I haven't seen them yet. I'm hoping she will share so I can post them here. One of the other Mom's sent me this picture....
This is Brody and his best buddy (see previous post), Reid after the play, I think. They are in the same kindergarten class. How cute are best buddies? I love it.
I so wish I could have seen the play. From what I understand, someone made a video, so I might get to see that. One of the other Mom's sent me a video, but it is hard to see and even harder to make out any of the words, so I skipped posting it. Stay tuned for pictures from Nan's camera. (Hint, hint, Nan.)
