Spring Break 2015

March has flown by for the Orsburn family!  We've spent the month running back and forth between the baseball field and the soccer field.  Baseball's official opening day is this Saturday and the last day of soccer is this Saturday, so we will be putting one season to bed just as the next one truly gets underway.  I've also been working evenings, so the schedule challenges have been real this month.  This is my last week of evenings until August.  I think I can...I think I can...I think I can...

Spring break 2015 followed 2 weeks of snow, during which the children only went to school for 2 or 3 days.  In essence, spring break lasted 3 weeks.  There has never been another mother happier than this one when spring break was finally over and the boys went back to school.  There is something to be said for structure and routine.  We are people who need structure and routine...that's all I'm saying.

Scott and I decided to take the boys on a short Spring Break trip.  We opted for the Wilderness of the Smokies Resort with an indoor waterpark in Sevierville.  It was such a fun trip!  We left on Saturday and came back on Monday.  I will let the pictures tell the story.

We spent plenty of time at the pool, but we also spent some time in "Adventure Forest".  We all did the Tree Top Towers, as you see below.   I am not a huge fan of heights.  Apparently Brody isn't either, so we didn't stay up there very long.  Brayden and Scott climbed the entire thing, I think. 

There were plenty of video games to enjoy.

There was a mini bowling alley and miniature golf.  We played both of those.  We also did the laser maze.  It was a lot of fun.

It was a really fun weekend.  Brayden and Brody even liked each other for the whole trip!  ;)
