Head Chef, Brody

Brody has lots of favorite things...soccer, baseball, sports in general, singing to the radio in the car, ice cream, cooking...
I'm not sure where it started, but Brody decided he wanted to make ice cream.  He was equipped with a YouTube instructional video when he brought this request to me.  He also strategically asked on the day I was making the grocery list.  He's a smart one, I tell you.  So I watched the video, made notes, and off to the store I went.

 

I'm not entirely sure why I do not have any pictures beyond the ingredients and the shaking, but I assure you, real vanilla ice cream emerged from the bag.  Brody wanted it to be a little more frozen, so he put it in the freezer to thicken up a little more before he ate it. 

I am so thankful for this little boy.  He keeps things exciting.  :)
