Christmas Tree Cutting 2015

On Saturday, December 5, the Orsburn's participated in our annual tradition of cutting our own Christmas tree from Elk Park Evergreens, just across the state line in North Carolina.  This year was particularly special because we expanded.  Nan and Pap, along with Keith, Sarah, and Company participated in the festivities!

Brody and Palmer had the early soccer game on Saturday morning.  After the game, we loaded up and headed to NC.  Palmer rode with us.  It is clear, we do not really do serious.  :)

We made it to the tree farm and headed out to the trees to pick the perfect one for Christmas 2015.

It was a lot of fun to be roaming through the trees together.  We took plenty of pictures, most of which were done with Mom's camera.

Below, Mom and Dad searching for their tree.

Scott and I found our tree.  I have no idea where our children were at this moment.

We managed to get a family picture with everyone.  We also took a picture with the grand kids and Nan and Pap.   Those pictures were on Nan's camera.  I tried to steal them from her facebook page, but Facebook is smarter than me.  :)  I was in charge of outtakes, which is what you get here.

Miss Hadley wore her red coat and carried her little purse.  It is hard to see in the picture, but this is the only one I had.  She is the cutest!

As is tradition, the boys picked out their own Charlie Brown trees for their rooms.

After the early morning soccer game and the Christmas Tree Cutting work, we were ready for some lunch.  We stopped at a BBQ restaurant in Roan Mountain.  It was yummy.  Mom was at work with her camera again.  I love this picture of Scott and I.

After lunch, we parted ways and headed home to begin decorating for Christmas 2015!
