By the sheer fact that I am posting means I survived my first day back to work. Things started out bumpy....the crying in the car and the frantic call to my Mother at 6 AM (because, yes, I am 30 and she is still fixing my tears). I managed to pull it together, then I arrived on the floor at work. As soon as I rounded the nurses station, I was in tears again. I have a great group of co-workers because before I knew it I was surrounded with hugs. They were all excited I was back, and excited to see pictures of Brody. My day wasn't bad ~ I was scheduled for a 12 hour shift, but ended up getting to leave after only 8 hours. So, I am scheduled to work again on April 22. We'll see. I didn't have so much fun today that I just have to return. :-) The boys seemed to be fine without me....I'm not sure if that makes me happy or sad.
Since I got to come home early, I got to have dinner at home with my boys. After dinner, we all painted the wooden eggs that Grandma sent us. This was a lot of fun. Brayden proclaimed himself an artist. I'd say that's about right. See if you can figure out who painted which egg...I painted 1 egg, Scott painted 2 eggs, and Brayden painted 3 eggs.
