Holy Moly

OK, I have discovered a major flaw with our new house. We have trees. Lots of trees. With leaves. Which are currently on the ground. Here lies the problem.

We moved from our house in Nashville, which had exactly ONE tree. One very small tree...which was dead most of the time it resided in our front yard. Not really a leaf problem.

We moved to our rental house in Johnson City, which had exactly ZERO trees. Even less of a leaf problem than our house in Nashville.

Today's weather was semi-pretty. Only semi-pretty because the temperatures were a little on the chilly side, but the sun was shining....so I got the rake. Mistake number one. I started in the back yard. Scott joined me while the kids played outside. It took THREE hours (as a combined effort) to rake our yard...and we didn't even finish the job. We didn't touch the other side of the driveway from the house.

I'm thinking a big fancy leaf blower is in our future...
