Back home...for today

We're back home! Yay! We had a lot of fun in Johnson City....and the weather was beautiful....the mountains....ahhh. It was kinda hard to leave. Man it feels good to take a deep breath and not choke on the humidity.
Mamaw's birthday party was a huge success. She seemed to be very happy. Even Brayden and Mom got in on the action. Brayden really wanted to talk into one of the microphones...so he decided he wanted to sing "Happy Birthday" to Mamaw. Of course he couldn't go it alone, so Mom went with him. And yes....Mom ended up singing a solo. :-) He did, however get to talk into the microphone. He said, "Hi" and "Thank you."
Besides Brayden and I, there were lots of cute acts - one of my favorites was the little cousins square dancing. There was plenty of eatin', pickin', and singin'. Her country western party was a blast.
As promised, I am posing some pictures of our adventures over the past week and a half. I didn't do digital at the party, so no party pictures here. If I ever figure out the video thing, I might get ya a video of Brayden and Mom's debut duet. :-)

Brody discovered a fascinating new "toy" at Nan's house. A bag of chips. Unopened, of course. I believe he would have sat for hours playing with the bag.

And here are the Dollywood pictures.
