Crawling and Crusing

These are some pictures from Nan's house that I had to include today. Brody is on the verge of taking off....he gets himself up on all fours, but can't figure out how to go anywhere, so he just drops to his belly and raises his arms and legs. I think he's hoping he'll start sliding. He is otherwise quite the little mover and shaker...even without crawling. I'm afraid the days of putting Brody on his blanket on the floor and expecting he is going to stay there are gone.

And....Uncle Keithy and Brayden had a super time playing at the park across from Nan's house. Brayden took both his scooter and his skateboard to Johnson City. (Never fear, we have an unlimited pass at the ER. Hee, hee. That's funny until I have to go there....then I am not laughing. Believe me, I've done it. 3 times with Brayden.)

So these two switched off. It is unbelievable how well Brayden does with things on wheels. I hadn't actually seen Brayden skateboard until now. I'm not sure he's ever actually done it....but he appeared to be quite the little 5-year-old pro. As you can see, he was far more graceful than his mother. He doesn't get this from me. :-)
