I wish....

I wish I had pictures to post....

I wish I had something interesting to write about....

I wish I could get more sleep....

There's a lot going on here, but nothing out of the ordinary. Brayden is finishing up his week at camp. Tomorrow is his last day. He's learned a few things - how to build a pyramid out of ice cubes, how to change the color of water with an M&M, and how to change a tire (which could come in handy since he rides with Mom a lot). I think he has enjoyed himself....and it puts a smile on my face when I pick him up and he is super excited to see me. I adore the way his face lights up. Come to think of it, I have always adored the way his face lights up.

Carla spent the 4th of July like every other 4th of July - at work. It wasn't bad. I hated to be away from the boys, but whatcha gonna do? It's only 2 days a month. I shouldn't complain. The boys went to Grammy's house. They got to see Grandpa and Granny, which was a nice treat. Our evening was spent with our favorite neighbors - Sherry, Clarence, and Georgia, Carrie, Owen, and Avery. The big boys shot off fireworks. The girls and Brody watched from the safety of the steps. Except Georgia....and she's gonna be wherever Brayden is. Those two are about the sweetest. I could eat them up. Today, Georgia declared it "I Love You Day" - and I love it when she comes up with stuff like this and shares it with Brayden. :-) She's good for him.

Brody news: He is still adorable, still squealing, still smiling and flirting with all the girls. Lord, help me in a few years when my little heartbreakers get big!

I'm heading to bed, I need sleep. Since both of my children are asleep, I should take advantage of this opportunity!
