Long overdue

I am long overdue for a good blogging update. Our lives have been so chaotic for the last two weeks or so I've hardly had time to do anything...including blogging. So, I am going to attempt to catch up today.

First, and probably most shocking to some of my readers...The Orsburn family is relocating to Johnson City. This decision comes with a lot of thought and even more emotion for me. I am excited about being close to family and friends. I am excited about moving to a place you can be at the grocery store in under 5 minutes. I am excited about the smaller schools. I am excited about a fresh start and mixing things up a bit. But I am sad too....sad about leaving my home, my friends in Nashville, and sad about leaving the autonomy Nashville has offered us.

The B's and I will make the move next weekend. Scott will remain in Nashville and work on selling our house. I am a bit nervous about being without the strength and solidity that Scott brings to our home. Please keep us in your thoughts as we make this transition and our family is temporarily separated. I am hopeful it will be as short as possible.

Since we are going to be moving, the boys and I spent our time in Johnson City (see previous post) looking for a place to live. We found a place after looking at way, way too many and dragging Uncle Adam all over Johnson City. I also interviewed for a job in Nursing while we were there. I feel pretty confident about the opportunities available there. We also got to spend some time with friends. We visited Cecil and Brenda's one evening for dinner with the gang. Brayden was introduced to the big wheel. This video is too funny not to share.

Brayden was pretty good on the big wheel....but maybe he needs to find a better videographer. Or maybe Uncle Keithy was going for the big action shot! Either way, that video cracks me up.

That's the big news from the Orsburn House....I also just returned from Chicago. I'll try to post my stories from that later today! :-)
