Christmas 2014 Continues - The Tree Cutting

I promise, I will move on from Christmas 2014 at some point.  Unfortunately, today is not the day.  Tomorrow probably isn't either.  :)

Today, I'm posting pictures from our tree cutting 2014.  For years, we have had an artificial tree.  Last year, we decided the artificial tree had seen better days and opted for a real tree instead.  We went to Elk River Evergreens in Elk Park, NC.  We had such a good time last year, we went again in 2014 to choose and cut our own tree.

The boys got "Charlie Brown trees" for their rooms.  There were plenty of trees to pick from for the kids.  This may have been a harder decision that the one that went in our living room.

When we arrived home, we got our tree set up in the living room and then the little Orsburns went to work decorating their trees.  After they finished decorating their trees, they both got really into decorating their rooms.  The pictures don't really tell the story.  In addition to his tree, Brayden hung lights that went all the way around his room.  Brody added 4 miniature stockings to his wall and a garland with lights to his door.

I think that wraps up the tress cutting/tree decorating.  Looking back over these memories makes me feel excited to see what Christmas 2015 might bring.  Not that I'm ready for it today....there are so many other memories to make between now and then.  :)
