I am admitting this here and now. I was too lazy to walk over pull the vaccum cleaner plug out of the wall. I grabbed the cord and yanked.
Do not ever do this.
Seriously, do not ever do this.
I am sporting quite the shiner on my left cheekbone from said vaccum cleaner cord. Actually, the end of the vaccum cleaner cord. Thankfully it didn't hit me in the eye. My little cheek is all swollen up and turning blue. I am certain by morning it is going to be wonderfully shaded and un-coverable with makeup.
I am telling ya'll this so you can learn from my mistakes. Mama said don't pull the cord. Silly me, I thought it was gonna mess up the cord.

Is it mean of me to be laughing at you?? No, really, I'm sorry about your cheek...but the mental image is a little funny. Is that mean? I'm sorry. I will heed your warning and not pull the cord.
It is absolutly not mean...in fact, if I wasn't laughing at myself, it wouldn't have made it onto the blog! :-)
Seriously - have you ever met anyone else who hit themselves in the face with a cord? I didn't think so.
It is always an adventure around here. Apparently, I am not going to be left out!
