Last year, the developer of our subdivision planted trees in every front yard on our block. Then came April - and a late freeze. Then the little trees died. I mean all of them. Some of them have a little green on them, but most of them look pretty pitiful. So Scott and I were outside, talking about our tree....He is convinced it is dead....yep, we're gonna have to replace it.....he says all of these things as he is leaning into the tree. S-N-A-P!
So, in case there is any question, the tree definately has to be replaced now....since Scott snapped it in half. Yes, for now it is but a tiny stump.
Brayden arrived home from a weekend at Grammy's on Sunday a week ago. He noticed the tree was missing and asked (in an I-know-you-did-something-bad tone), "What happened to our tree?!?" I told him, "Your big strong Daddy snapped it in half!" Brayden was not so amused. :-)
