BLACK Friday

I love black Friday. I think it is actually one of my favorite days of the year. This is the third year of our annual black Friday shopping. The first year it was Mom and I....the second year, Keith joined us and added an entire new dimension of fun...this year, Scott and Brenda joined the team. We've had to expand to two vehicles in order to carry all of us and our finds!

We started at 3:45 AM. (Yes, you read that correctly : 3:45.) We hit Kohl's, JC Penny, Toys R Us, Target, Best Buy, and Sears - all before 7:30 AM. By 7:30, we were sitting at Chick Fil A enjoying some terribly-bad-for-you chicken minis. (Yum.)

This year, I decided to take my camera so you could all share in the fun. I only remembered it at Target, so we only have a couple of pictures.

Target was actually the only place with any excitement this year. The cops were crusing the parking lot....and there was a war of words between two ladies. I don't really know what was going on, just that two ladies started yelling at each other. These altercations usually take place when someone is trying to cut line.

As usual, it was a ton of fun. There was definately a smaller crowd than last year. Who wants to join us next year? Only 363 days until the next Black Friday! Although, I hear the shopping the day after Christmas is even better....might have to try it this year....but don't tell Scott. :-)
