Make a Difference Day

I have been meaning to post the pictures from National Make a Difference Day. I participated with the Junior League of Johnson City. My group was at the Girl Scout Camp, helping with their Halloween/Fall event. I was so friggin cold! Luckily we were at the S'mores-making station, which meant we were by the fire. It was a lot of fun. I am so blessed to be part of such a wonderful organization with such great women.

I was trying to roast my marshmallow to make my own s'more. I had almost roasted it to perfection when it fell off my stick and into the fire. I was terribly sad.

I was not, however, deterred. I got another marshmallow and made my s'more. I am not sure why NaTasha thought this was so funny. :-)
