Tomorrow is Friday!

Yay! Is anyone else as excited as I am that tomorrow is Friday? I am going to be the most thankful I don't have to get up at 5:30 AM!

I thought I would post an update from the rest of the week....

Brayden has been in love with Educare. Today, I practically had to carry him out because he wanted to stay. He told me to quit picking him up so early. I told him not to get used to me picking him up early. :-)

Brody has spent the week with Mrs. Bo. Even though we've gotten her directly out of bed twice now, I think she has really enjoyed Brody being around. He left early today to go to Hospitots for the first of two visits before he starts on Monday. I dropped him off at 3 pm. I then went directly to the used bookstore. I will admit I felt terribly guilty being out shopping while my two children were in childcare, but man...it was like a little piece of heaven to be able to browse at my leisure without once having to shout "Brayden!" or "Brody!" I am not used to having to kill-time before I pick up my children, hence I picked Brayden up early. We both went to pick up Brody. I thought it was more important for him to get the experience, so he got picked up last. When we got there, he was happy and playing. Of course, he was happy to see us...or rather...Brayden. The teachers told me he did "Great....Didn't cry a bit....asked where Mommy went but wasn't super concerned about the answer to that." He goes back for his second visit in the morning. Maybe he is going to love having all these new friends. I hope it continues to go as smoothly as it did this afternoon.

The update on my job: I have almost finished the classroom part of the orientation process. It has almost bored me to tears. I'll be honest. I'm not much for sitting around listening to the process. I would rather be practicing the process. I guess that explains my profession....there is a reason they call it 'practicing.' I have a pharmacology exam tomorrow and a couple of training days next week and I will be done with the classroom. That is, of course, until the next class rolls around in December. :-)

I am excited about my actual job, though. I was in the office today for a while and met some people. Turns out I used to go to church with one of the women who works in my office! It took me a minute to figure out who she was and why she was shreiking my name. I am so thankful to know someone I will be working with. I should be able to ask her all of my 'stupid' questions.

I will close tonight with another picture of Uncle Keith (AKA Jungle Gym Keith) and my boys. Good greif...they are wild.

Yeay the first week is almost done! From your posts, it seems to have all gone exceedingly well so far (minus the boring training part). Good for you! And everyone!!

Glad to hear things are going so smoothly...and I hope it continues. It's amazing how resilient little people are. They adjust so quickly. Wish it was as easy for the big people.
