I've got a minute...

Since I have a few extra minutes this morning, I thought I would update the blog. I know you guys have missed me, right? :-)

Update on Carla's Book Club: I just finished reading Sundays at Tiffany's by James Patterson. If you haven't read this book, it is a must. I could hardly put it down. (Just ask Scott!) It is a wonderful story. I highly recommend it.

Update on Brody: I dropped Brody off for his second full day at Hospitots yesterday. Not a single tear was shed. It made me happy that he seems to like it there....but part of me was sad too. He gets more independent with each passing day. I miss the days when he needed me so so much.

Update on Brayden: He has had two more spelling tests at school. I am so very proud of him; he scored a 105 and 100 on his last two tests. He is maturing so much! Saturday, he went to Gatlinburg to spend the night with Grandma and Bo-Bo. This was his first solo trip, and I believe he had a great time!

Update on Scott: Still working, working on the Jeep, and spending sleepless nights with Brody. Did I mention Brody has taken to getting up a couple of times a night? It is really not fun, since it leaves both Scott and I exhausted.

Update on Carla: I'm still working, and the boredom factor hasn't improved. Today I have a computer class from 9 - 1 and then off to the office for the rest of the day. I'm really not sure if I can handle any more excitement (dripping with sarcasm here....)

Last weekend, while Brayden was with Grandma and Bo-Bo, Brody stayed with Nan and Pap and Scott and I got to enjoy a night out with friends! We joined Adam and Lacee, Cecil and Brenda, Keith, Dawn, and Adam's friend Shelly for dinner at the Cafe One 11. It was so good! We were going to go bowling after dinner, but the wait was an hour for a lane, so we skipped it. It is so great to get together with friends...renewing for the soul. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends. I am already looking forward to our next get together.

I guess that is about it for this morning. Brody has infomed me, "I poo-poo." so I guess I will be changing a diaper before we head out for the day. Hope you all have a wonderful day! :-)
